A combination of new arrivals and returning teams has meant the 2023/24 South Devon Football League will boast ten new teams, an increase of around 20%.
Three teams will be rejoining from the Devon Football League (Buckland Athletic Reserves, Newton Abbot Spurs Reserves and Paignton Saints), while Teign Village are coming back following a season in the Devon and Exeter League.
Ashburton Association have reformed, while Drake FC are the latest team from Plymouth to move east to the SDFL.
The remaining four teams are additional teams entered by existing SDFL clubs. Liverton United and South Brent will be fielding reserve sides, while Elburton Villa and Watcombe Wanderers have become the latest clubs to add a third team.
