The front runners in the TCS SDFL Premier Division all faced tough away trips last Saturday with only Brixham AFC Reserves able to collect three points. The Fishermen reclaimed top spot with an impressive 5-1 victory at Meadowbrook Athletic in a game which saw six players make the score sheet. Callum Barber, Mark Griffiths, Scott Robinson, Mitchell Thomas and Dan Rankin found the net for Brixham with Thomas Comyn on target for Brook.
Buckfastleigh Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw at Osborne Park with substitute George Dodge scoring for Newton Abbot ’66 and Charlie Morgan netting for Rangers.
Watts Blake Bearne drop out of the top three after narrowly losing out to The Windmill at their temporary home of Bull Point. Windmill’s player of the month for October, Carlton Allen, staked his claim for another award with a hat-trick. Sam Stowell, Jakeb Heywood-Cann and Lewis Perring scored for WBB.
Up into third come East Allington United who won 2-0 at home to Ivybridge Town Reserves. Matt Bodman and Dan Bowles scored the goals.
Elsewhere, Elburton Villa Reserves enjoyed a comfortable 10-0 home win over Barton Athletic with Sam Lang and substitute Scott Allen both scoring twice. Jake Beer, Alfie Eccles, Billy Howells and Ryan Waterschoot were also among the goals.
With Galmpton United unable to raise a side, Salcombe Town picked up another three points to go towards their title campaign.
Kingsteignton Athletic and Waldon Athletic are still going well in Division One with the top two picking up away wins on Saturday. Aaron Paget and Mike Hooper found the net for the Rams as they just about beat Beesands Rovers 2-1 away, Louis Brace with the Bees’ strike.
Ashley Grimes and Ajay Tehrani exchanged first half goals at Kingskerswell Playing Fields but visiting Waldon collected the points with further goals from Josh Clarke and Lewis Eaton after the break. Both sides were reduced to ten men after the dismissals of Kamil Piwonski and Kirk Finch.
With Ashburton pulling out of their game at Harbertonford, Paignton Saints Reserves had the chance to move up to third if they could overcome rivals Paignton Villa at South Devon College. Saints won the game 7-2 and are now six points off the lad with two games in hand.
Gavin Hammon struck twice for Chudleigh Athletic in a 2-1 victory at Buckfastleigh Rangers Reserves, Jay Barnard responding for Rangers. Chudleigh have now gone four games unbeaten.
Ilsington Villa made it ten wins out of ten by beating Stoke Gabriel and Torbay Police Development 3-0 away. Matthew Warman scored twice for the Division Two leaders with Dan Langford also on target.
Second-placed Torquay Town keep up the pressure with a resounding 6-0 triumph at Newton Rovers while Babbacombe Corinthians complete the top three, Curtis Marshall’s brace earning Corries a point at Newton Abbot Spurs Third.
Two goals from Aidan Corcoran helped East Allington United Reserves to a 4-2 triumph at Barton Athletic with Chris Jebb and Jake Blamey also netting.
Watcombe Wanderers Reserves won 4-1 at Paignton Villa Reserves with Ole Crosbie-Hawkings, James Bennellick, Laurence MacLeod and Callum Ayling all on target there.
There were hat-tricks from Josh Bruckner and Robbie Chalk as Dartmouth AFC Reserves destroyed local rivals Dittisham United 9-0 at Shinners Meadow, Alistair Selby, Ellis Wadeson and Facal Benaziza with Darts’ other goals.

Second-placed Brixham Town had a lay day while Newton Abbot ’66 extended their lead over fourth-placed Galmpton United Reserves to five points with the Greens unable to field a side.
It was a day of hat-tricks in Division Four with Bradley Rooney celebrating two of them as Division Four leaders Bovey Tracey Reserves hammered bottom club Discoveries Devon 15-0. Benjamin Moyle bagged a treble of his own and there were doubles apiece for Alistair Chuchuk, Matthew Churchill and sub Nathan Trott as the Moorlanders made it 88 goals scored in 11 games.
Waldon Athletic Reserves slipped off the pace with a 4-2 home loss to Ivybridge Town Development. Lewis Dickson was another hat-trick scorer and was joined on the score-sheet by Craig Brenton. Josh Briscomb and Terry Hunter found the net for the Clarets.
Brixham Town Reserves enjoyed a 7-0 home win over Watcombe Wanderers Thirds with Paul Christie and Garry Drew both putting away hat-tricks at Furzeham Green; Alex McKerrell completed the septet.
