Argyle Class Shows Through in National League Plate Tie

Going in as underdogs, we started strong with a well-worked goal headed home by Sarah Stacey in the 8th minute, only for Argyle to reply with a tap in three minutes later. It was pretty much all Argyle for the next 20 minutes passing the ball really well in the middle of the park. Some fabulous goalkeeping throughout the first half wasn’t enough to stop Argyle being quicker to the loose balls, allowing them to score three more before the break.

The second half started as the first finished with Argyle scoring their best goal of the game just after the restart. With Bucks chasing the game, it left gaps for the very talented Argyle side to score two more before the full-time whistle. Overall Argyle’s quality showed and they were simply the better team.
