Who we are
Clubnets is a trading name of Neil Hocking (sole trader). Clubnets provides websites for sports leagues, clubs and individuals and also media content. Buckland Athletic LFC have agreed to permit Clubnets to run the official Buckland Athletic LFC website.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
CLUB OFFICIALS
To provide a service to website users, we include the full names of club officials as supplied by the club at the beginning of each season. These details can be deleted on request.
CLUB PLAYERS
To provide a service to website users, we include the full names and profile hotographs of club players as supplied by the club at the beginning of each season on an official Clubnets form (profile photographs of individuals in under 18 teams will not be used).
The form contains confirmation of consent for use of the names of players under the age of 18. A copy of the signed form will be provided to any player or the parent of an under-18 age player on request. These details will be deleted on request.
Changes from May 25th 2018: We understand that amateur player names/photographs are likely to be in the public domain. However, to ensure compliance with the new GDPR legislation, all Clubnets player forms from the 2018/19 season onwards will contain a separate tick box for every player listed. Club officials will be requested to obtain consent for use of each player’s name individually before ticking the box. Players will nevertheless retain their right to have their name and photograph deleted on request. Clubnets reserves the right to use the player’s initials for statistical purposes.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
From time to time, we may include contact forms to enable us to collect details from you in order to perform a specific service. This data will be stored with the third party providing the specific contact form. We will only use the data for the purpose noted in the contact form. However, we are unable to control what the third party does with the data. On request, we will provide any privacy policy the third party contact form provider has made public.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. On request, we will provide any privacy policy the third party contact form provider has made public.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Club official and player names and photographs will be retained until new details are supplied or until an official/player requests they are deleted.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for website administration or for legal or security purposes.
Where we send your data
All data is stored on databases hosted with Hostgator. We will only share your data with other third parties where this is required to provide our services. How we protect your data
Player names and portrait photographs are publicly available but will be deleted on request. User information entered when setting up an account is stored on WordPress databases on Hostgator servers. We are unable to protect data stored with other third parties (e.g. an email address you supplied through a contact form plug-in). On request, we will provide any privacy policy the third party contact form provider has made public.
What data breach procedures we have in place
The security of account holder’s details on our WordPress databases are monitored by Hostgator. We rely upon Hostgator for any information regarding data breaches. Should we receive such a notification we will immediately cancel your account and inform you of the breach.
What third parties we receive data from
We receive club official and player names from the Buckland Athletic LFC management. We receive player profile photographs from Miracle PR photography, Buckland Athletic F.C. We may also use other third party photography providers with the consent of Buckland Athletic L.F.C.
