We are pleased to announce that Nikki May has agreed to re-sign for the gulls and Captain the team for the 2020/21 season.
“I am thrilled to have re-signed for the club for another season and I’m honoured to be asked to captain the team once again. They’re a great group of players and I’m really looking forward to building upon the progress we made towards the back end of the season. The plans the management team have shown me look fantastic and I’m looking forward to the season ahead”.
Manager Jamie McInnes added “Nikki impressed both her teammates and the management staff during her first season at the club. Her solid and consistent displays in the centre of midfield and occasionally defence, demonstrated her versatility. Her experience and leadership skills were apparent right away, and in assuming the captain’s role towards the end of the season, Nikki played a huge part in our upturn in form. We are delighted she has signed again for another season and we can confirm she will be permanently assuming the role of club captain”.
