MAP Extend Gap As Fixtures Decimated Again – Round Up

With United’s enforced postponement meaning the second and third-placed sides were not in action, leaders Marine Academy Plymouth Ladies took full advantage!

It was top versus bottom as MAP Ladies extended their lead at the pinnacle of the South West Regional Women’s Premer League to 8 points (11 over United who have four games in hand) with an 8-1 win over AFC St Austell Ladies at Manadon. Samantha Drewery scored four times, while Carmen Morrison added a brace to her season tally.

Fifth hosted sixth as Ilminster Town Ladies travelled to ever-improving Frampton Rangers Ladies. Rejuvenated Rangers were 6-0 winners in another one-sided affair, where Shannon Francis added a couple more goals to her total.

Elsewhere, Bishop’s Lydeard Ladies visit to Poole Town Ladies, and Sherborne Town Ladies trip to AEK Boco Ladies, were both postponed.
