Torquay United Ladies made the long trip to Wootton Bassett for the first qualifying round of the Women’s FA Cup.
The visitors showed a positive attitude despite a tough 8-0 defeat. Charlotte Dymond’s 75th minute angled strike off the post rebounded into the home ‘keepers arms for Torquay’s best chance.
Torquay return to league action on Sunday 29th September as they host Marine Academy Plymouth at South Devon College Sports Centre, Eight Acre Drive. The pitch is (thankfully) all weather and the ground includes covered stands and free admission.
