Week three’s action in the South West Regional Women’s Premier League kicked off a day early, as Forest Green Rovers Women and Sherborne Town Ladies went head-to-head at The New Lawn on Saturday evening. Rovers extended their 100% record in a comfortable 4-1 victory, and four different names on the scoresheet.
Marine Academy Plymouth dropped their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw at Sherborne Town, where once again, both Chloe and Kelly Snook were on target for the Dorset side.
Bishop’s Lydeard Ladies had won their only game so far but were held to a 1-1 draw by Pucklechurch Sports Ladies.
And Ilminster Town picked up their first points of the 24/25 SWRWPL campaign with a 3-2 victory over Poole Town Ladies.
AFC St Austell Ladies were not in action.
