Torquay United’s Women will play only the second game in their history on the hallowed Plainmoor turf, as part of a day of family celebrations to mark Mother’s Day on Sunday 30th March. Plainmoor will be offering a Mother’s Day Lunch, or Afternoon tea in one of the stadium’s hospitality boxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The South West Regional Women’s Premier League match against Bishops Lydeard kicks off at 2 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lee Mann and his side will hope bringing the ladies back to Plainmoor is a good omen. United’s previous game there saw a crowd of more than 400 witness a 2-1 victory over Sherborne Town Ladies, back on Mother’s Day in season 22\/23. Esme Kilburn-Thompson and Connie Pengelly got the goals that afternoon, while Emma Ayres made two vital late saves. United’s Women went on to lift the SWRWPL title, and win promotion to the National League!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Club captain, Danni Wyatt, team skipper, Tracey Cross, Emma Ayres, Ocean Latto, Rebecca McMullin, Sasha Mole, and Scarlett Williams were part of that game and remain in the current squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets can be purchased online in advance for this fixture, priced at \u00a36, or \u00a34 for concessions, and \u00a33 for under-18s. These can be purchased from the club’s online ticket office HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
